In addition to meatballs, fish soup is another top comfort food. It’s a safe choice in almost any restaurant – even though the chef was not that skilful, they usually can’t ruin fish soup. But where to head if you want to eat really good fish soup?
My recommendation for the best fish soup in town is Fisken på Disken in the 5th floor of Kamppi shopping centre. The shopping centre doesn’t sound like the most attempting environment, but on the other hand, it’s a central location, easy to access and air-conditioned.
The rainbow trout soup with dill oil is one of their signature dishes, and it is served both on lunch and on dinner menu. It’s definitely not the cheapest fish soup (20€ on dinner, 16,50€ on lunch), but if you’ll have only one fish soup during your stay – this is the one.
