Helsingin Kahvipaahtimo, Helsinki Coffee Roastery, has opened a café at Teurastamo. They’ve had their roastery at Teurastamo, the old abattoir area, for quite some time already, but now they serve excellent coffee not only in beans but also in liquid format at Teurastamo.
In Helsinki there are many cafés who manage lattes and cappuccinos, and some of them even serve decent espresso. But those cafés who serve excellent filter coffee are rare – Helsinki coffee roastery is one of them.
Next to the café there is a Neapolitan style pizza place. I’ll need to come back soon with proper hunger.
